Amble in the Meadow

In celebration of our fifth anniversary, Cornerstone Gardens presents choreographer/director Sarah Elgart in, Amble, a wandering performance piece integrating original dance, sound, light and the beauty of the site landscape.

This performance is the culmination of artistic visions which began with the opening of the first garden at CornerStone Sonoma. Five years later, sculptor Stephen Glassman was inspired by the gardens to create a site-specific land art work entitled, Below Above. This in turn moved Elgart to create, Amble, a breathtaking performance inviting the audience on a transcendent journey amongst the gardens ending with the majesty of Glassmans Sculpture.
This offering is also part of our larger vision for the Gardens at CornerStone Sonoma. A desire to make the gardens available to artists as a place to come, be inspired, create and be seen. It is our hope that we will be able to welcome and support more events like this in the future.
