Krist, who played at Santa Rosa Junior College after graduating from Petaluma, pitched the last two seasons at Cal Poly Pomona.
This spring he set a Cal Poly single-season save record with seven, breaking the mark in a win at Sonoma State. He had a 3-2 won-lost record with a 3.68 earned run average.
He led the Broncos with 22 appearances, striking out 23 and walking just 11 in 29 innings.
