Musical benefit on Tuesday

Great music for some rescued horses: Two-time Grammy nominated musician Matthew Santos and folk artist Ian Thomas will perform a benefit concert on Tuesday, March 15 at 256 North (Kodiak Jack's). All the proceeds from the concert will go to Icsomma Farms of Sebastopol, which rehabilitates, re-trains and provides homes to rescued horses; works to eliminate equine transport across U.S. borders for the purpose of slaughter; and includes youth at risk into its rescue programs. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. concert. Tickets are $25 general or $125 for VIP passes that include reserved seating, an artist meet and greet, admission to a post show event and drinks and appetizers.
